Adam and Stephanie

I recently met up with Adam and Stephanie in Rockwall for their engagement session. These two have to be one of my favorite couples. You can tell they are so much in love and they were willing to do anything I asked of them.

We also did some family pics since they got a new puppy. They are such a cute family. I love the picture below because there is nothing better than the laughter of a child.

Some of my favs!

I loved the lighthouse. You don't seem them very often living in Dallas.

This has been one of my favorite shoots. We ended the shooting playing in the fountain. We needed to cool down for the 100+ weather.

Ryan and Jennifer

Ryan and Jennifer were married on June 27, 2009 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. It is a quaint church but very pretty. They held their reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

I just love these two. They are so cute together and I loved the wedding colors, black and hot pink. It's such a great color combination and the bridesmaids dresses were so cute.

Jennifer's daughter was so cute. I just loved the hairpiece they made for her.

I have to say Catholic weddings are my favorite because they are steeped in tradition.

I love the Bride and Groom signs they made. So cute.

I happen to catch one of the flower girls eyeing the Groom's cake. She decided she needed to taste it before Ryan and Jennifer. She turned around and had a huge smile on her face (before she knew I saw her) so I assumed it was good.

Ryan proposed to Jennifer during a trip to Paris so Jennifer incorporated that into her theme. She used the Eiffel tower in many different aspects of their wedding. She used the Eiffel tower replica as her cake topper. She had chocolate candy shapped in an Eiffel Tower. Then of course the ice sculputure. Jennifer really thought about every little detail.

I'm a sucker for tuxedo decorated strawberries. They are just too cute.

Everyone danced the night away. The DJ rocked. He even got out there himself. This is one of those weddings that would have gone into the wee hours of the morning if they could have.

One of the flower girls needed to take a rest. She tired for all that dancing.

She perked back up in time to see Jennifer and Ryan off. Of course the fact they had bubbles to play with helped too.

Congrats Ryan and Jennifer. It was such an honor to photograph your day. Karey and I wish you many years of happiness.

Pedroza Family

I recently met up with the Pedroza family for some pictures. They are the cutest family. I just love their little boy. He is so full of laughs and he loved the waterfalls we took pictures by.
We met up in the morning in Allen so hopefully by the time we finished it wouldn't be too hot. Yeah it didn't take long for the heat to set it and we ended up taking shelter at Market Street. I got to snap a few pictures there, which I love the picture of baby Carson on the sofa.

Marcus and I went to high school together and he roomed with my husband back during their college years. Wow I sound old saying that but it was 7+ years ago. I had never had the chance to meet his wife and they travel all over for their missionary work. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Marcus is truly blessed to have her in his life.

He has such the prettiest eyes as you can tell from the picture above.

Jennifer's Bridals

Jennifer was married this past Saturday, so I can finally share her bridal pics. Jennifer is an art teacher in Mesquite. She wanted a modern location for her bridals and we were able to find the perfect place. Jennifer brought all sort of props and shoes (I highly recommend playing with your footwear). She is so sweet and we had a blast taking pictures.

The one above is one of my absolute favorites. I love the pictures in the background. We really wanted to play up the colors of the hotel.

Jennifer is just gorgeous and her wedding was so cute so stay tuned for those pictures.

Madi Turns 5

Madi had her 5th birthday party on June 20th. All her friends came over and they enjoyed swimming in a blow up pool and a water bounce house. I was jealous, I never had a water bounce house as a kid.
The party had a hippie theme and the cupcakes had swirls of pink yellow blue orange and green. They were good too.

I love taking pictures of little details and there were plenty. The flower cupcakes were made by Madi's mom. She did an amazing job putting this birthday party together.

Jon's Headshots

Jon is one of my really good friends and he is also an inspiring actor. We recently met up because he needed an updated headshot. We ran around McKinney until it was too hot took a lunch break at Spoons on the Square (if you haven't been there you are missing out) then took some more pictures in my studio.

Jon has done a lot of short films with an amazing film crew Gud Productions. They recently placed 3rd at Dallas 24 Video Festival. Check out this video to see Jon's amazing acting skills http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=58137257
