In the spirit of Thanksgiving

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we wanted to take the time to thank all of our brides and grooms this year. This has really be an amazing year for us and we hope all of you are enjoying your new life as husband and wife.

We have also had the opprotunity to photograph families with new additions. Congrats to you and your new bundle of joy.

We have also booked several weddings for next year. We do feel very blessed and we look foward to next year with all of our great clients.

We would also like to thank our families for their continued support and to our husbands. Without them we wouldn't be able to do half of the things we do. Thanks Jeremy and Ray.

Happy Holidays

TWU Dance

I recently had the chance to photograph the dress rehearsal for the TWU Dance Department. I graduated from TWU 4 years ago and it felt like going back to high school being on the campus. I really loved TWU and all of the professors I had but it was bit of a surreal experience.
I have also been a fan of dance and the movement, costumes, and the story that is told. The department is full of very talented dancers and at time I caught myself intuned into the dancing instead of photographing. I had a really hard time narrowing down the photos but I hope you enjoy. Also you should make it out to the next Dance Concert at TWU. You won't be disappointed.

Lathan Family Part 2

Shauna photographed the Lathan Family a few months back while Karen was pregnant. They called us again to snap some shots of the newest memeber of their family. He is such a cutie and his big brother is excited to have a sibling.
Here are a few of my favorites shots.

Isabelle and Joseph

Isabelle and Joseph were married and the La Buena Vida Vineyards in Grapevine. This venue is simply stunning. The atmosphere at night is amazing with the lights and fountain. They also make amazing wine.

Isabelle is one of the nicest people I've ever meet. She is also a fellow photographer. She does a lot of senior portraits. I loved the simplicity of her wedding. You could tell her wedding was really about family and love.

Here are some shots of the location. As you can see it is just an amazing venue. And the staff is wonderful.

Both Isabelle and Joseph's daughters served as Junior bridesmaids. They get along really well, and look like they could be twins. They were such sweet little girls.

The two newlyweds are off to their honeymoon suite. Thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your special day.

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Part 2.

As promised here are more pictures from Brian and Tonya's wedding. They are such a lovely couple. They are so much in love and that makes our job easy. Congratulations to the two of you and I hope you honeymoon as very relaxing.

The reception was filled with lots of dancing. Below is everyone doing the electric slide.

This was taken as the best man was giving his speech. He was talking about how Brian had been there for him and he said something that cracked everyone up. He said that Brian had been there for his first wedding, his second wedding and then the entire room burst into laughter. The best man didn't mean to be funny but he immediatly mentioned he is still married to his 2nd wife. The rest of the speech was very endearing. Everyone at the wedding was very moved by his speech and the maid of honor's speech.

Here are some pictures from the ceremony. We know the pictures are out of sequence. Sorry, we are still learning how to blog and post pictures.

Hilarie's Bridals

I finally get to share Hilarie's Bridals. Her wedding was this past Saturday as the Little Chapel in the Woods. Her dress was gorgeous and we had such a fun time going all around Dallas taking pictures. Here are a few of my favorites

I just love the back of her dress.

This is one of my favorite places in downtown. It is so quiet and serene. The trees changing colors really give the feeling of fall and matched Hilarie's wedding colors

This has to be one of my favorites.

Congrats Hilarie. You make a beautiful bride.
